The Mental Health
OT Toolkit
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a surge in mental health needs across the US. More and more often, Occupational Therapists are running into treatment challenges driven by the mental health needs of their consumers. While OT practitioners have the general training to address the mental health needs of clients, practitioners working outside of a mental health setting often report feeling under equipped to apply mental health based interventions to client sessions.
This course is aimed at providing Occupational Therapists with functional, evidence-based mental health interventions that can be easily utilized in a standard treatment session across a variety of settings, customizable to clients across the lifespan.
