Service Description
Life brings challenges—stress, anxiety, trauma, and unexpected changes—that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. The Mindfulness Based Resilience Group is designed to help you strengthen your capacity to meet life’s difficulties with greater calm, clarity, and balance. Drawing from evidence-based approaches—including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—this group integrates practical mindfulness skills with a trauma-informed lens. Together, we create a supportive environment where you can learn to pause, notice, and respond with intention rather than react out of habit or overwhelm. Each week, participants will be guided through a combination of: Mindfulness practices (such as breathing, grounding, and body awareness) to foster present-moment focus and reduce stress. Cognitive and emotional tools to reframe unhelpful thought patterns and increase self-compassion. DBT-informed skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and building healthier relationships. Resilience-focused discussions that connect mindfulness to real-life challenges, growth, and healing. This group is especially supportive for individuals navigating stress, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, or simply wanting to deepen their mindfulness practice in community. You do not need prior meditation experience—just a willingness to show up, practice, and explore. By the end of the group, participants can expect to: Cultivate steadiness and resilience in the face of stress. Strengthen emotional awareness and self-regulation skills. Develop mindful ways of relating to self, others, and life’s challenges. Build a toolkit of practices you can carry into daily life. If you are ready to reconnect with your inner strength and meet life with more presence and resilience, this group is for you.

We intentionally keep our classes small, which often results in a waitlist once classes are full. We ask clients to give 48 hours notice prior to the first session if you need to cancel so that we have time to fill that spot with someone else from our waitlist.
