Uncertain Times

As a result of the recent government shutdown, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — which helps about 42 million Americans with food purchases — is facing major disruptions.

Because SNAP serves as a lifeline for low-income individuals, children, older adults, and those living with disabilities, even a short delay in benefit distribution can mean hard choices like skipping meals or sacrificing other essentials.

Food banks and community organizations are already seeing increased demand. This is why our practice’s gift card drive is so important: by providing grocery cards or equivalent support now, we can help bridge the gap for families and individuals who are facing food insecurity due to the funding interruption

Why A Gift Card Drive?

There’s a sense of dignity in being able to meet your family’s own nutritional and cultural needs by going to the grocery store and checking out just like everybody else.

Food banks are a wonderful resource for our community, but they are not meant to replace government-funded food and nutrition programs.

We believe everyone deserves dignity and the autonomy to make the choices that are the best for their families. This drive allows those in need to feed their families in the way that works best for them.

Ready to Help?

You can help us bridge the gaps in our community. It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3

1. Click The "Donate" Button

This will take you to our donation page.

2. Give What You Can

You don't have to feed an entire family yourself. A small donation can go a long way.

3. We'll Let You Know Your Impact

We'll send you a thank you card with information about the family(s) you helped!

Our "Why"

We have a daughter. We know how scary it would be to not know if we could feed her and feed her the foods that she’s used to and accustomed to or that work for her diet.

We’ve all been in a situation where finances have been tight, but there’s no reason to go without food because you might experience shame or guilt for asking. Everyone deserves food and safety for their families.
