Hi! I'm Sharon.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and a therapist at Mind The Gap, an integrative therapy practice in Murfreesboro, TN.

​

My approach is deeply integrative and trauma-informed. I draw from modalities like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, somatic practices, and DBT — tools that help you connect with your nervous system, your body, and your inner truth. 

​

I’m drawn to a group-based experience like this series because I believe transformation is rarely a solo journey. There’s power in shared intention, mutual support, and witnessing others do the hard work of rebuilding alongside you. I’ve seen how trauma, overwhelm, and old patterns can leave people feeling stuck or disconnected — and I’ve also witnessed how community, structure, and compassionate guidance can help people rediscover hope, clarity, and a renewed sense of self.

If you’re ready to slow down, listen to what your body and heart are trying to tell you, and build a plan that honors your real life (not some “perfect” version of it), I’d love to walk this path with you.

You’ll learn how to identify what actually matters to you—beyond expectations, pressure, or “shoulds.” This helps you create a grounded direction for the new year that feels aligned with your real needs and intentions.

Understanding Your Patterns

We’ll explore the emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns that keep you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. By understanding where these patterns come from, you can begin to respond differently and create space for change.

Building Emotional Capactity

You’ll practice regulation skills that help calm your nervous system, manage stress, and expand your bandwidth for daily life. These tools make follow-through easier because you’re not working against emotional overload.

Strengthen Your
"Follow Through"

We’ll look at what supports consistency—things like routines, boundaries, pacing, and self-compassion. You’ll learn how to build habits that last because they’re realistic, flexible, and tailored to the way you work best.

Turning Insight Into Action

By the end of the series, you’ll shape everything you’ve learned into a simple, sustainable month-long plan. You’ll leave with clear micro-steps, tangible next actions, and a structure that supports real-life momentum.

Every Saturday  -  9:00am - 10:30am  -  for 4 weeks

  • Saturday - 01/10 - Vision Reset

    • Create a grounded vision board that reflects what you truly want this year.

    • We’ll clarify values, identify priorities, and set an intentional direction for 2025.

  • Saturday - 01/17 - Pattern Reflect

    • Explore the internal habits, roles, and responses that keep you stuck.

    • Gain insight into your emotional and behavioral loops so change feels possible, not overwhelming.

  • Saturday - 01/24 - Capacity Reset

    • Learn practical regulation and coping tools to support follow-through.

    • Build emotional bandwidth so stress and self-doubt don’t derail your goals.

    Saturday - 01/31- Integration Reflect

    • Turn everything into a simple, sustainable plan for the next month.

    • Identify micro-actions, boundaries, and supportive routines that fit your real life.

About Our PRactice

Health professions traditionally exist in silos: isolated from one another and deeply specialized. This isn't inherently a bad thing, but it means that important pieces of our clients overall healthcare slipped through the gaps between services. So an idea was born: to offer mental health services that spanned the space between mental and physical domains. OT is often utilized in a physical health setting and counseling is primarily utilized in a mental health setting. By combining and collaborating, we weave together a safety net.
